# Can I change plans?

Moving up or down a plan, what the month of the change costs, and what an annual commitment changes.

Yes. You can change the plan of a site at any time, from your account. The change takes effect immediately, except a move to a lower plan under an annual commitment (see below).

## Where to change plans

* **Account opened from 1 November 2026** (one plan per site): in ABconsent, site list (menu **My CMP configurations**), **Plan** column, **Change plan** button.
* **Account opened before 1 November 2026** (one plan for the account): in your Sirdata account, page [Sirdata products](https://account.sirdata.io/sirdata-products), block **Your ABconsent plan**, **Change plan** button.
* **Association offer**: it can neither be changed nor ended from your account. To end it, for example to subscribe to a paid plan, ask Sirdata.

You choose the commitment, monthly or yearly, at the same time as the plan.

## What the month of the change costs

The price for the month is calculated **pro rata to the days spent in each plan**.

**Example.** In a 30-day month, a site moves from Starter to Pro at the start of day 21. It spent 20 days on Starter and 10 days on Pro:

€9 × 20/30 + €25 × 10/30 = €6.00 + €8.33 = **€14.33 excl. tax** for the month.

A move down is calculated the same way. For a move to Essentials, which is free, only the days spent on the paid plan are invoiced.

## Monthly or annual commitment

**An annual commitment does not freeze the price.** Sirdata may change its prices on 30 days' notice, including during a commitment. You may then terminate free of charge until the effective date: you owe nothing for the remainder of the commitment period, and you keep the 10% reduction already granted.

## Stopping payment, or stopping the service

* With a monthly commitment, moving a site to Essentials stops the invoicing of its paid plan from that day. Its visitors then see the consent requests of Sirdata and its partners.
* To stop the service entirely on a site, remove the tag from your pages and unpublish its configuration: see [Cancellation](/en/faq/cancellation.md). You may end the Essentials plan at any time.
