# Google advertisement

Google describes its rules and conditions regarding the display of targeted advertising on sites using a TCF v2 CMP: [https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9805023](https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9805023?authuser=2)

These rules specify in particular that:

* if the user does not give consent for Purpose 1, Google does not perform any processing.
* if the user gives consent for Purpose 1, Google can drop and access cookies.
* in addition to Purpose 1, if consent is given or legitimate interest is accepted for Purposes 2, 7, 9, and 10, Google serves non-targeted advertising.
* in addition to Purpose 1, if consent is given or legitimate interest is accepted for Purposes 2, 7, 9, and 10, and consent is also given for Purposes 3 and 4, Google serves targeted advertising.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://cmp.docs.sirdata.net/en/faq/google/google-advertisement.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
